this place is 100% WOW! We didn’t even know it existed and we have never been told about it.

The only reason we came here is because I had found this random palace on google and it said to go see it . There is more to Sintra than Pena Palace , if anyone wants a long weekend or if you want to book your parents a beautiful little break, we definitely recommend Sintra. 2-3 days is enough that includes resting time.

The most amazing place was Quinta de regaleira! It’s amazing - it all looks great in my photos but this is nothing compared to when you actually go there .

Pena palace was also beautiful.

It it was a really difficult two days with the kids , again it felt like only our child ‘Ashie’ was screaming the place down, throwing her teddy and having breakdowns lol my god this girl ! And at the same time all the randoms love her and she ends up wanted to hold the tour guides hand instead of her own parents!

Shae is a soldier with the amount of walking she has done . At the end of the first tour we were all tired and starving and yet again nothing opens for dinner until 7pm. Our kids eat at 6pm so this has been challenging especially when we are not staying in an apartment . We found a kebab shop and went there and guess what Indians ! So we had Indian curry and nan ! We missed it ! Girls had missed it and it was the most satisfied dinner in a long time lol

we stayed in a beautiful place called Bonsai family residence which is also a small Bonsai museum , kids loved it as they had fish and lots of turtles . Really nice and peaceful until our gang got there!

Go to Sintra! It’s only 20 mins from Lisbon
